Please join us as we work for policies to remove barriers and
provide the homeless population the assistance and rights they need
to realize self-sufficiency, and prevent children from entering
the cycle of homelessness and poverty.
Why Membership Matters:
In order for the coalition to be effective, we need a broad and
strong membership. The current affairs of homelessness are in a
crisis in our community and in this state, we must continue to
address the issues. There is no doubt that you regularly witness
how the housing crisis affects those you serve. Hopefully, you have
seen or heard how many of those affected have been helped through
coalition members and their programs and services. We ask that you
join the coalition to be part of crafting real solutions with
quality implementation and improvements in our continuum.
Your
Benefits Include:
-
Opportunity to vie for
competitive funding sources (i.e. Continuum of Care, Challenge
Grant, Homeless Housing Assistance).
-
Stay abreast of changing,
relevant issues in real-time that affect the homeless
population.
-
Be a part of the Solution – join
those who are making an impact.
-
Network with others in the filed
– learn and use best practices.
-
Links to experts in developing an
operating homeless programs and services.
-
Voting Rights (one vote per
organization/individual member).
