Executive Committee:
The Executive Committee shall consist of the Coalition's President,
Vice-President, Treasurer, Secretary, and the most recently serving
past President of the Coalition. The Executive Committee shall supervise
and oversee the Coalition's administrative, contractual and operational
functions. The Executive Committee shall be primarily responsible
for obtaining and coordinating data and other information regularly
used or analyzed by the Board of Directors in connection with the
Coalition's function and operations.
Continuum of Care Committee:
The Continuum of Care Committee shall consist of volunteers from
the Coalition who shall advise the Board of Directors regarding
policies and projects related to Housing and Support Services for
the homeless and Long Range planning including the Homeless Management
Information Systems for the Coalition.
Community Relations Committee:
The Community Relations Committee shall consist of volunteers from
the Coalition who shall advise the Board of Directors regarding
policies and projects in the areas of Research and Data, Community
and Member Education, Advocacy, and Membership Recruitment and member
records.
Financial Resources Development Committee:
The Financial Resources Development Committee shall consist of volunteers
from the Coalition who shall generally be responsible for oversight
of the functions performed by the Treasurer; investments of corporate
funds; and annual budget preparation. In addition, the committee
shall assist the Coalition with fundraising; grant research and
operational systems, including the Homeless Management Information
Systems.
Nominating Committee:
The Nominating Committee shall consist of volunteers from the Coalition's
voting members and shall be chaired by member of the Board of Directors.
The Nominating Committee shall be responsible for nominating individuals
for election as Officers and Directors to the extent provided in
the Coalition's Bylaws. The Nominating Committee shall strive to nominate
individuals who represent a diverse cross-section of the Coalition's
membership so that the Board of Directors represents different constituencies
as generally described in Section 420.623 of the Florida Statutes.
Other Committees:
Other advisory committees not having and exercising the managerial
authority of the Board of Directors may be established by resolution
duly adopted by majority vote of the Board of Directors.
