    Please Join other service providers, advocates and concerned citzens from around the state to educate our state Senators and Representatives regarding the needs of our hommeless neighbors and how they can help them.

    Accomodations:  Florida Coalition for the Homeless has reserved a block of rooms at the Staybridge Suites, 1600 Summit Lake Drive and Hwy 90 E (Exit 209B), Tallahassee, FL 32317 for $89.00 a night (plus tax) for a studio room or $99.00 a night (plus tax) for a suite with a separate living area for February 15 and February 16, 2012.  The hotel rate includes a complimentary hot breakfast, a free meetin room, and  a free evening light meal with drinks from 5:30pm-7:30pm for all guests.  The group name is "Florida Coalition for the Homeless" and reservations must be made by January 25, 2012 to assure this special rate.  The hotel's telephone number is: 850.219.7000.



     

     

    Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF)

    The SSVF program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), aims to improve very low-income Veteran families' housing stability.  SSVF was awarded to the Homeless Coalition of Hillsborough County inn partnership with Tampa Crossroads and Bay Area Legal Service.  85 other communities in the country also received this grant.  To learn more about the SSVF program click here.

     

    Veteran's Homeless Prevention Demonstration Program (VHPD)

    Are you a veteran with limited income or are you unemployed?  Are you and your family at risk of becoming hommeless?  If so, the VHPD project may be able to assist you.  For more information about the VHPD project click here.
