Community members provide feedback during Carrette Week for the 10 Year Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness.
The Charrette's on July 23 and 24, 2012 provided an opportunity to hear from local and national experts as well as from concerned citizens, leaders and staff of homeless service providers, faith base organizations, businessmen, neighborhood association representative and others working to help their homeless neighbors in Hillsborough County. The issues areas were: systems integration, discharge planning, performance measures, health (including behavioral), employment and income, and Housing First. More than 150 community members and over 40 expert participated in the meetings to draft recommendations for the community's new 10 Year Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness.
