A resource for homeless persons, case managers and the greater community for information about homeless services available in our community. Providers of homeless and housing services are invited to post your program(s) and service(s) information on the Wiki to help ensure as many resources are listed as possible. The Wiki can be updated as often as necessary to indicate changes in services, availability of services, phones numbers, etc.

2-1-1 is a toll-free number that provides callers with information about available health, human and social services for every day needs and in times of crisis. 2-1-1 can be dialed from land and cell phones and accessed online at www.211atyourfingertips.org.

Cold Weather Shelters
In Hillsborough County cold weather shelters are emergency shelters that open when temperatures are exepted to be below 40 degrees F. The decision to open cold weather shelters is made by the Hillsborough County Emergency Operations Center.
The cold weather shelter locations are:

Bethune Park Rural Shelter (South County) - Adults and Families
5809 Edina St., Wimauma.
This shelter opens at 6 p.m.
Brandon Community Center - Individuals and Families
510 E. Sadie Street, Brandon
This shelter opens at 5:30 p.m.
Salvation Army - Adults
1514 N. Florida Ave., Tampa
This shelter opens at 4 p.m.

**The Salvation Army, in conjunction with Hillsborough County, coordinates additional 'overflow' locations for adults.
To access the overflow shelters, people still need to go to the Salvation Army.**
